WIA Conference Report

April 9-11, 2000, Memphis, TN - This year's Women in Aviation conference was without question the best ever for AWAM. The typical happy mob scene that we experienced at our booth was exacerbated by the frenzied purchasing of our new wrench pin.

The Mimosa breakfast was a real hit! Hot food and cold drinks were courtesy of Corporate members Pratt and Whitney, Northrup Rice USA and PAMA. This social event allowed us to mingle and share. Guests were invited to address the group if they so wished and it certainly didn’t take any prompting for them to do so. The enthusiasm was contagious as members and guests voiced good thoughts and ideas. Thank you everyone for making this a wonderfully memorable event.
