It promises to be another exciting year for AWAM! Due to your support, we have a growing number of AWAM chapters, scholarships and awards. In addition, we are receiving greater industry recognition and support. AWAM is touching more people’s lives than ever before. We look forward to supporting your interests in this field. As a member of this unique organization you do make a difference! The Association for Women in Aviation Maintenance is open to women and men. You do not need to hold a specific license or be employed in aviation maintenance. All who are interested in supporting women in aviation technology are invited to join. You become a part of a vital group that cares about increasing the community awareness of aviation maintenance and the important part that women play in safety and technology. opportunities Join AWAM or Renew your membership anytime during the year. The regular AWAM year is from March 1st to February 28th. If you join outside this period, your membership is for the complete year from when you join. You will receive a renewal letter during the AWAM general renewal period and you will be entitled to a pro-rated membership based on the rate you initially paid and the month you joined. This
year, all
renewals must be received by June 15, 2007 to avoid the $5.00
reinstatement
charge. As a reminder, corporate and educational memberships come with three individual memberships. Talk to your school or employer today about becoming a member! Mark
