RHSmith, 206L, South Dakota 3am, fire contract maintenance	Rena Smith writes of her photo: We working in South Dakota on the Pine Ridge reservation. We had a 90 day forest service fire contract. It was the first aviation helitack crew they had had on that reservation. We did a lot of training with the fire crews and put out a few trees. I was flown in on the weekends to do the scheduled & unscheduled maintenance. I did 50 hr, 100 hr & 300 hr inspections and servicing. I usually worked through the night so that the bird could be up again by 8am to stay on contract. So 6pm till 3 am was my normal shift. Great fun, great crew and great experience.
