JOB SUMMARY: 

Responsible for oversight and management of all Gemini Safety and internal evaluation related programs and activities. For safety and internal evaluation reporting purpose reports directly to the President/CEO of GAC, remaining independent of all GAC management structure. For administrative and day-to-day management purposes, reports to the Senior VP and General Counsel. Responsible for establishing, coordinating, and managing: the GAC Safety Program; the GAC Incident, Accident, and Injury Reporting Program; the GAC Performance and Safety Improvement Program (PSIP); the GAC Internal Evaluation Program; Internal safety related communication process (e-mail, newsletter articles, etc.); and any additional aviation or industrial safety related programs. Responsible for investing and/or reporting all GAC ground incidents, accidents, and personnel injuries. Responsible for acting as the GAC liaison with supporting businesses and contractors on all safety-related matters. Responsible for incident, accident, and personnel injury tracking, trend analysis, and development of preventive measures. 

Requires BS/BA degree in Aviation Safety or related field. Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in Flight Operations, Dispatch, or Maintenance or 3 years experience in a comparable position in the US Military or in a US government agency that deals with aviation matters. Candidates must have at least one of the following: an FAA ATP certificate, an FAA A&P certificate, an FAA dispatcher certificate.
