Robin Lamar (Rauschkolb) - Ambassador & Co-founder

 

Robin is a co-founder and Past President & Vice-President of AWAM. Currently retired, she was a Line Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic for over twenty-one years, first with TWA and then with United Airlines. She is also retired from both Airframe and Powerplant Instructor and the PAMA National Board. She was the first woman A&P at TWA’s Los Angeles Maintenance facility.

Robin utilizes her expertise as a Speaker and Instructor in Aviation Maintenance programs at colleges, youth training events, community outreach and in AWAM’s Speakers Network. Granted the title of AWAM Ambassador, she is a strong, innovative representative to the international aviation industry. She is a Speaker and Radio Talk Show host at Sun ‘n Fun.

Robin has been an EAA member for over 20 years. She is a recipient of the prestigious Aero Club Scholarship Award and the 2001 AMT of the Year award. 
  
Robin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology and possesses a background in social work. With her husband, she owns a hangar, a Cessna 182 and an experimental aircraft kit plane project at Santa Paula Airport in California.
